DISCOUNT retail chain Aldi is set to launch a bigger store at the St Helens Retail Park.
The supermarket is to relocate into a bigger unit at the retail park in Peasley Cross.
Aldi says the move will create five extra jobs, with all staff at the existing store able to relocate.
Signage states the new store is set for a launch date of June 6.
A planning application was also submitted to St Helens Council in February seeking permission to install Aldi signage at the new unit.
A spokesperson for Aldi said: “We are looking forward to opening a new bigger store at St Helens Retail Park in June.
"This will be in our new layout, which ensures more in store space for fresh, chilled and food-to-go ranges as well as simpler layouts, and brighter, wider aisles.
“The new store will create an additional five jobs for the community.”
Aldi also has stores at Linkway West, Clock Face and Haydock.
