PEOPLE in Wirral can now order food using Deliveroo.

The popular app, already available in Liverpool and Manchester, has now expanded to a number of new areas.

But at the moment you'll have to live close to Birkenhead to be able to use it.

Currently the app offers delivery from the likes of Bella Italia, KFC, Burger King, Fat Lolly Sams, Wild Fire Pizza Bar and The Yog Hut.

How does it work?

1. People in Wirral can download the Deliveroo app and order from restaurants on their smartphone (available for iOS and Android) or by visiting https://deliveroo.co.uk/

2. Select your location - you can select your home, office or any other address.

3. Choose your meal

4. Place your order - pick the items you want right now or schedule your order up to one day in advance or receive food as soon as possible between 5pm and midnight.

The company says more than 50 jobs will be created for local people in Birkenhead over the course of the first year.
