A BIRKENHEAD man has been charged after two people were reportedly threatened in the street.

Kieran Lewis Stott, of Henthorne Street, was charged with possession of a knife in a public place and a section 4 public order offence.

The charges relate to an incident on Claughton Road on Tuesday, March 5 when two people were reportedly threatened with violence.

Stott has been remanded into custody and is due to appear before Wirral Remand Court today (Thursday, March 14).
