WITH roller-skating servers, a 13-metre screen and nothing but the best entertainment - Woodside Drive In cinema will return next month.

Wirral's first American themed drive-in cinema, based next to the Woodside Ferry bus station, will reopen on Saturday, April 6 with a special screening of Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

From 7pm, avid movie lovers can pay £15 per car to enjoy a screening of the award-winning feature-length celebration of Queen, their music and lead singer Freddie Mercury.

Following the band's rise to the top, the film also charts the life of stereotype defining Freddie who became one of the world's most-loved entertainers.

On the night, viewers can expect pre-movie games, fire eaters and circus performers while servers are on hand to take your order from Woodside's ultimate snack menu.

The cinema boasts outdoor speakers but cinema-goers can tune in to all the action through their car radio.
