WIRRAL celebrity chef Nisha Katona has received an MBE for her services to the food industry.
Travelling to London on Thursday, March 7, the former barrister was honoured by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.
After founding Mowgli, an Indian street food chain in 2014, Nisha has since gone on to release three books and makes regular appearances on television and radio.
Through Mowgli she has been able to donate more than £100,000 to charities, including Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, each year.
On social media, she wrote: "Best day - thank you Mowgli and Mowglites - It wouldn’t have happened without you."
