A LAW firm marked the opening of its new office in Hoylake by making a donation to the town's lifeboat station.

As part of the celebrations, Jackson Lees Solicitors held a raffle which raised £200 for the station.

Its board then matched the amount raised, making a total donation of £400.

Jade Newton, Hetal Hathiwala and Stuart Royden from the company visited the lifeboat station to hand over the donation during a training exercise.

Wildlife group

GRAHAM Jones will be Wirral Wildlife group's guest when it meets this Friday (March 8).

He will talk about Burton Mere Wetlands and The Dee Estuary during the event in Room B, Heswall Hall.

The presentation is due to start at 7.30pm.

'Best of British'

WALLASEY-based St Paul's Musical and Stage One 2000 stage their Best of British show next month.
