A FLOOD alert has been issued across Warrington today, Wednesday.
The high tide is expected to be higher than usual along the Mersey Estuary.
The Environment Agency says flooding of low lying land, roads and farmland is possible between 12.15pm and 1.15pm.
Areas that may be affected include Fiddlers Ferry, Lower Walton, Arpley Bridge, Woolston and Latchford.
River levels have already been affected on Arpley Road under the railway bridge.
