A PENSIONER has been left extremely shaken after three men forced their way into her Moreton home.

Merseyside Police received a report at around 9.20pm on Tuesday, February 19 that several men had entered a property on Pasture Road before ransacking the home.

The homeowner, a woman in her 80s, was at home at the time of the raid and although she was uninjured she has been left extremely shaken by her ordeal.

It is not yet known if anything was taken from the home.

Detectives say an investigation is underway and they are conducting CCTV and house-to-house enquiries in the area.

Chief inspector George Phillips said: “This incident has left an elderly and vulnerable woman extremely distressed in her own home, the place she should feel most safe.

“We are in the early stages of the investigation and as we try to establish the full circumstances, I would ask anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the Pasture Road area, or any males making off, to please contact us.

“I would also appeal to anyone who has dash-cam footage who was driving around that area and who may have captured something significant to get in touch.”
