THIS year marks the 90th anniversary since the Birkenhead Jamboree at Arrowe Park and to celebrate local scouts will be honouring this in the Birkenhead Gang Show.
Scouts from Birkenhead along with friends from Bebington and Wallasey Districts will take part in the show from February 20 to 23 at Port Sunlight's Gladstone Theatre.
Since 1961, a bi-annual gang show has been held by Birkenhead scouts but this year, the event promises to be even more spectacular.
Complete with comedy sketches, dance and choral items, the show contains a special nod to the Birkenhead Jamboree at Arrowe Park in 1929 with audio and film footage from the time.
The Birkenhead Gang Show will take place on February 20 to February 23 at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight.
