THIS year's Scouts and Guides charity Christmas Post has raised £22,250 for Wirral organisations.

Volunteers sorted and delivered approximately 376,000 cards to households across the borough.

Charities to benefit from this year's Scout Post are:

  • Byrne Avenue Trust
  • Charles Thompson's Mission
  • Cruse Bereavement Care
  • Family Tree Wirral
  • Friends of Cambridge Road
  • Hoylake Cottage
  • Hoylake Parade Community Centre

"I would like to thank all volunteers and all who continue to purchase stamps in support of their local community".
