A POLICEMAN was injured while arresting a man after a car chase through Moreton.
At around 11.30pm on Monday, February 4, police patrols on Hoylake Road spotted a grey BMW driving at speed through Moreton.
Officers followed the car before it stopped on Kinnerton Close a short while later.
The driver, a 39-year-old man from Moreton, tried to leave the car and a police officer received minor injuries while attempting to detain him.
He was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop and drink driving.
He has been taken to a police station for questioning.
