X FACTOR winner Sam Bailey is coming to Wirral to help raise cash for a rare blood disorder called Evans Syndrome.

The 41-year-old singer will perform at family-friendly Fun In The Sun Festival in Birkenhead Park on July 14.

Organised by C'n'D Events, this will be the third Fun In The Sun Festival and will include plenty of live music, a funfair, stalls and donkey rides.

Callum and Amanda Wirth set up Evans Syndrome UK in 2014 to raise cash and awareness of the rare blood disorder that effects both adults and children

Evans Syndrome is a disorder in which the immune system destroys red blood cells, white blood cells and or platelets.

In 2016, they had to stop running the event after a family member passed away due to Evans Syndrome.

Currently in the UK there is very little research about the disorder and both Callum and Amanda hope to raise enough cash in order to open their own research centre in a bid to find a cure and support families effected by Evans Syndrome.

Joining Sam at Fun In The Sun Festival will be The Voice UK star Liss Jones, rock band Insanity Beach, RnB singer/songwriter Chantal Lappin and EDJ.
