GANG members at the centre of a drugs ring in Warrington are now serving lengthy sentences behind bars.

At Liverpool Crown Court on Friday the gang were sentenced for their involvement in an organised drugs ring.

More than 50kg of cocaine was supplied during the conspiracy and seven firearms were also seized following a series of police raids.

These are the men who are now facing a long stretch behind bars. 

 

Andrew McElligott, aged 43, Nixon Drive in Winsford.

He was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine

Had some awareness of the conspiracy but had an ability to work hard

JAILED FOR 9 YEARS

 

Anthony Cullen, aged 31, of Colemere Close, Padgate.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis. He was found guilty of conspiracy to possess for sale or transfer prohibited firearms and ammunition

Described by the judge as the controller and director of the drugs business.

JAILED FOR 27 YEARS

 

Chris Houghton, aged 40, was produced from prison.

He was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess for sale or transfer prohibited firearms and ammunition.

A highly trusted member of the group - he had a management role.

JAILED FOR 20 YEARS

 

Chris Potter, aged 31, of Southworth Avenue, Bewsey.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine and cultivation of cannabis

Motivated by money but described as a role model in prison

JAILED FOR 4 YEARS 11 MONTHS

 

Christopher Larosa, aged 30, of Dover Road, Latchford.

He was found guilty of conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to supply cannabis.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to produce cannabis

Gary White, aged 31, of Stanbridge Close, Hood Manor.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine

A former British Army man - his was described as a 'spectacular fall from grace'

Jason Eastens, aged 35, of Hall Road, Woolston.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply firearms and found guilty of conspiracy to transfer/supply ammunition, offer to supply cocaine and cannabis
