A woman was left shaken after a sexual assault in Spital.
Merseyside Police received a report at around 11pm on Saturday, January 12 that a woman had been approached from behind by an unknown man and assaulted between Spital train station and Kinglass Road.
The man is then believed to have made off on a pushbike.
He is white, in his late 20s or early 30s, of skinny build with a shaved head and stubble.
At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue hooded top.
The woman was not injured during the ordeal but was left shaken.
Detective inspector Tara Denn said: "The investigation is in its early stages but I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Spital station at around 11pm on Saturday night or saw a man fitting the description to contact us."
