TRIBUTES have been paid to a Wirral dad who died in a crash in Malpas.
Emergency services were called at around 6.50am on Wednesday, January 9 following a crash involving two HGVs and a car on Whitchurch Road.
The driver of the car, Phillip Edwards, 38, died at the scene.
His family are currently being supported by specialist officers.
In a joint tribute, his family said: "It is with great sadness that Phillip Edwards passed away on Wednesday following a road traffic collision.
"Phill was a much loved husband, son, dad, brother and uncle and this tragic event will leave a huge hole in our lives.
"We ask that our privacy is respected at this difficult time."
