THORNTON Hall Hotel and Spa has been handed a Silver Star award from The AA.
Based in Thornton Hough, the hotel has been handed an AA four Silver Star rating for its 'exceptional standards of hospitality, service and cleanliness.'
According to the report, the management and staff have 'reinforced their efforts in many aspects of the inspection process' and that results were 'extremely positive and were comfortably in like with the AA's exacting standards to achieve their Silver Star award.'
Last year the hotel won an award for 'Best Tasting Afternoon Tea of the Year' and it's restaurant, The Lawns, was recognised as the best for fine dining in Merseyside.
General manager of Thornton Hall, Geoff Dale told the Globe: “We’re delighted to have received a four AA Silver Star Award, which is testament to the tireless hard work and dedication of our entire team.
"We look forward to what else 2019 has in store and continuing to offer an exemplary guest experience.”
Thornton Hall recently celebrated one of its most successful Christmases to date, serving more than 8,000 guests Christmas meals.
