BUSINESS owners have been left devastated after a robbery at a beauty salon in Bromborough.

Detectives were called to 60 Bromborough Village Road at around 8am today (January 4) following reports of a break-in.

It is believed that the burglars had forced entry to the premises, which houses seven businesses; Lash Love Studio, Hair by Dominique Leah, Stephanie H Aesthetics, Beautiful Cuticles, Emily Alight MUA, GGL Major Makeup, Jane Louise Lashes, BLG Nails and Jessica Rose Lashes.

All businesses have expressed their devastation at the break-in, which they believe was targeted.

In a statement they said: "We are all devastated.

"We were fully booked today due to it being after New Year and have had to cancel appointments.

"Whoever did this caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. The whole premises has been ransacked and they've damaged CCTV, alarms and windows.

"We're hardworking women just trying to earn a living.

"We would just like to say a big thank you to all the businesses and clients who have supported us during this time."

Items taken include products from Lash Emporian, Hair Choice extensions, Morphe palettes, Molly Cosmetics and MAC.

A police spokeswoman said: "The incident was reported to us just after 8am today (January 4) that a hairdressers on Bromborough Village Road, Wirral had been burgled.

"Unknown offender/s are believed to have forced entry to gain access to the premises.

"Officers are working with business owners to identify what has been stolen and locate those responsible."
