POLICE arrested two men and charged one with drug supply offences following an incident in Oxton on Boxing Day.
At around 9.15am, officers were on patrol in Sycamore Road, Tranmere and saw a Ford Focus that was found to be uninsured.
The car initially failed to stop and was followed before being stopped in Mill Hill, Oxton.
Following a search, suspected Class A drugs were recovered from the car, and two men were detained.
Benjamin Jordan, 33 from Beech Road, Tranmere was arrested and has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court next Wednesday, January 2.
A 56-year-old man from Birkenhead was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, using a vehicle while uninsured, and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
