POLICE have appealed for help to find a 51-year-old man missing from his home in Lymm.

John Hawkins, 51, was last seen driving in Bala, north Wales, at around 1pm on Wednesday, December 12, having left his home in Lymm in the early hours.

He is believed to be driving a black Mitsubishi L200 Warrior 4x4, a vehicle he travelled in through Corwen and Dolgellau the same morning.

Mr Hawkins is described as being 6ft2, of medium build with brown hair and brown eyes.

It is believed that he is wearing Karrimor-like black boots with a high-visibility trim, dirty dark blue jeans, a navy Superdry hoodie with a logo on the front, a black Trespass wax jacket with a thin silver trim on the chest and a black New York Yankess cap with a frayed peak.

Inspector Stuart Williams said: “Extensive enquiries to locate John are ongoing, and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I appeal to anyone who has spoken to John since he drove from his home in Lymm in the early hours of Wednesday, December 12, to contact us.

“The same goes for anyone who believes they may have seen John, his Mitsubishi L200 Warrior 4x4 car or has any information regarding his whereabouts.

“If you see the car or someone who looks like John in the north Wales area or anywhere else please get in touch.”
