POLICE have confirmed a missing pensioner who was last seen shopping in Liverpool City Centre has been found.
Carol Green, 73, from Newton, was last seen at around 2.30pm on Thursday, December 13 in Marks and Spencer on Church Street, Liverpool.
Officers confirmed that she had been found but has been taken to hospital for treatment.
In a statement, Merseyside Police said: "We can confirm that Carol Green from Wirral has been found in Southport this morning.
"She has been taken to hospital for treatment and is with her family.
"Thank you to all those who shared this appeal so widely."
