A 19-YEAR-OLD has opened a new cafe in West Kirby which serves up award-winning brownies.

Piers Henderson, from West Kirby opened the new space, which is part of the Love Brownies group on Saturday, December 8.

Love Brownies has three stores across the UK with two more coming soon.

He told the Globe: "We've been working really hard to transform the place and it looks fantastic.

"We think Love Brownies will be a great addition to Banks Road. We're so excited to throw open the doors and welcome everyone.

"We know people will fall in love with the delicious brownies across the whole range but especially the Christmas ones at this time of year.

"The brownies have won so many Great Taste Award gold stars between them and once you taste them, you can definitely understand why.

"Love Brownies has such a high reputation not only in terms of the quality of the food and drink, which people can take away, but also in the cafe experience itself.

"We want people to come in to a warm welcome and really enjoy the indulgence.

"We're looking forward to offering that to the people of West Kirby and - once word gets out - possibly from even further afield!"

All brownies are individually hand-baked in small batches to ensure each one is 'delicious and fresh.'
