A MAN was taken to hospital after a concern for safety on a M53 bridge.
Merseyside Police were called at around 4.30pm on Thursday, December 6 to a bridge on Upton Road, Upton following reports of concern for the safety of a man.
It is believed that members of the public stopped at the scene and talked to him before emergency services arrived.
He was then taken to hospital for assessment.
