YOU'VE heard of giant Yorkshire puddings filled with roast dinner and Yorkshire pudding wraps.
But have you ever thought about trying a sweet version of the festive favourite?
A pub chain has unveiled the newest Christmas food innovation.
Farmhouse Inns has created the quirky combination of mincemeat and batter and introduced the UK's first mince pie Yorkshire pudding.
Bosses at the carvery say it will 'meet the growing demand for innovative dishes and exciting food fusions'.
The dish will be on sale at Green Oak Farm in Ellesmere Port.
A spokesman added: “Our filled Yorkshire puddings are always a hit with our guests, but usually we’re encouraging diners to pack them full of succulent meats and seasonal vegetables.
"This Christmas we wanted to combine the classic Yorkie pud with a seasonal sweet treat to create something truly spectacular, which also tastes delicious."
Mince pie Yorkshire puddings are available at 67 Farmhouse Inns pubs nationwide with an RRP of £2.49 while stocks last.
