There were two incidents affecting traffic in the area this morning, Wednesday
HEAVY traffic built up on the M62 this morning, Wednesday, after two separate incidents.
There has been a crash between junctions 7 and 8 where an ambulance was called to the scene with the third lane being sealed off.
A vehicle also broke down on junction 7 at Rainhill Stoops which has led to the eastbound lane being shut on the exit slip road.
The second lane was closed as drivers headed towards the roundabout of the junction but it has now been reopened.
