GREAT British Bake Off judge, restaurateur and chef Prue Leith will be heading to Wirral as part of her new book tour.
Prue will talk about her new book 'Prue: My All-time Favourite Recipes' at Heswall Hall on Monday, November 26 from 7pm.
The 78-year-old will also be signing copies of the book on the evening.
Her first cookery book in 25 years celebrates the food; whether it's halibut with green linguine or fast roast teriyaki lamb, she reveals top handy tips to create these delicious dishes from scratch for family and friends.
The book also contains quick-to-whip-up suppers and dinner party showstoppers, not to mention a pudding chapter inspired by her time on GBBO, promising each dish is 'worth the calories.'
Born in South Africa in 1940, Prue has spent most of her working life in London and is Chancellor of Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.
I am thrilled to have been shortlisted in the National Book Awards (Food and Drink) for my first cook book in 25 years.
