POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they'd like to speak to after an elderly woman had her handbag snatched in Wallasey.
Merseyside Police received a report that between 12.30pm and 1.15pm on September 17, an 88-year-old woman was walking along Mainwaring Road when she was approached by a man who snatched her bag.
He then made off in the direction of Rappart Road towards Wallasey Town Hall and then onto the promenade.
The bag contained the woman's phone, purse and a bronze coloured ladies watch.
Detectives believe the man in the CCTV may have crucial information which could help the investigation.
Anyone with information or knows who the man could be is asked to call 101 or contact Merseyside Police on social media @MerPolCC quoting crime reference 18200195780.
