A MOTORIST today denied causing the death of a woman pedestrian in Tranmere by careless driving.
Christine Hannah pleaded not guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to causing the death of Kirsty Upton by driving a silver Ford Fiesta without due care and attention.
The 29-year-old victim had suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene near St Catherine’s Medical Centre on March 15 this year.
Hannah, 57, had been travelling towards Birkenhead at the time of the collision which occurred at about 6.40 am.
Hannah, of Coniston Road, Neston, was further remanded on bail to await her trial beginning on May 13.
