A 11-year-old girl is in a serious condition after being hit by a car in Wallasey.
Emergency services were called to Leasowe Road at around 6.10pm on Monday, November 5 following reports that a pedestrian had been in collision with a Nissan Micra.
The victim, an 11-year-old girl, was taken to hospital for treatment to a head injury.
Her condition is described as serious but stable.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation.
Witness and CCTV enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
