TRAVEL ALERT: Severe delays after five-vehicle crash on M56
THERE are severe delays and queueing traffic on the M56 Eastbound following an earlier five-vehicle accident.
The incident, involving four cars and a lorry, took place between J14 A5117 (Hapsford) to J12 A557 (Runcorn).
It has caused congestion to A5117 in Dunkirk and as far as the M53
Two lanes were closed, but have since re-opened.
Travel time is estimated at 50 minutes as traffic clears.
