POLICE are appealing for information after two cars were stolen from a house in Little Neston.

Cheshire Police received a call that between 4am and 5.40am today (Thursday, October 18), a house had been broken into on Marshlands Road while the homeowners were asleep.

Car keys were snatched from the home before a copper brown Ford Fiesta and white Ford Focus were stolen from outside.

Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to get in touch.

They also want to hear from anyone who believes they may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the cars after they were stolen or information regarding the locations of the vehicles.

Detective constable Roy Wellings said: “Burglary is a serious crime in which people are targeted in their own home – the place that they should be able to feel most safe.

“We are determined to catch whoever was responsible for the burglary and car thefts in Little Neston and bring them to justice.

“Enquiries are ongoing and I urge anyone who witnessed anything that may help our investigation to come forward.

“Equally I am keen to hear from anyone who believes they may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the offenders or the stolen vehicles, as we from anyone who thinks they may know who the offenders are or where the stolen cars are.”
