IT has seemed clear to me for some time that no deal will be achieved by the present Government over Brexit.

The Rees-Mogg faction will veto any deal cobbled together by the Government and Brussels.

The resulting crisis will lead to a general election in January, so stand by for festive party political broadcasts either side of the Queen's Christmas message.

I forecast the election of a rainbow coalition of "remainers," because the BBC has softened people up for the prospect of a second referendum as they have not been neutral in their stance on Brexit from June 23, 2016 to date.

If a second referendum is held on EU membership, no doubt the people will be scared into remaining “in the village” to paraphrase The Prisoner, 'be seeing you'.
