POLICE are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole cash from an ATM in Bromborough.
At around 9.20am on Friday, July 20 it was reported that a cash machine at Shell service station on New Chester Road had been broken into at around 3am.
It is believed that a metal side door was broken into to gain access to the cash.
Detective inspector Mike Dalton said: “This is a serious incident and whilst we analyse the CCTV, we are asking anyone with information to please come forward so we can track the offenders down and bring them to justice.
“It may be that the criminals that targeted this machine had been in the area in the days leading up to the event, scoping the area."
Anyone with information is asked to contact @MerPolCC, call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
