Nichola's family have today issued the following tribute:

"A beautiful daughter, step-daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and beautiful friend to all who knew her, has been hand-picked from this earth to spread her beautiful wings and share her love in Heaven.

"Nichola was a beautiful girl who lived her life in the beauty of this earth.

"She was a natural girl that loved any living thing and everything that grew around her.

"To her siblings she was their big sister and was a perfect role model to them and to her nephews and nieces she was someone who they could confide in and give them the confidence to face up to their problems.

"She was a daddy’s girl and to her Mammy she was her best friend. Nichola loved everyone who came into her life and they never walked away without becoming a friend.

"As she had the warmest heart and the most loving nature. Nichola has left a big gap in the hearts of all who knew her, especially that of her parents and siblings.

"Nichola would not want everyone to be broken-hearted as this would only break her heart.

"She has left behind all her happiness, beautiful nature and most of all her love so that we can carry her memory forward.

This has been a tragic loss for all her family. Nicola's family would like to thank everyone one for their messages, love and thoughtfulness at this sad time.

"So Nichola fly high above and beyond as we are the wind beneath your wings xxxx”
