A MOTORCYCLIST is in hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Hoylake this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Leas Park, off Meols Drive, at around 12.40pm following reports of a collision.
An Audi and Citroen were also involved. The 21-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital.
Meols Drive was closed to motorists between Graham Road and Winnington Road, on the junction of Leas Park as emergency services dealt with the incident.
There was heavy traffic and the incident affected traffic between West Kirby and Hoylake.
The road was fully reopened to traffic at around 4.30pm.
A police investigation is underway into the cause of the collision.
