FIREFIGHTERS tackled a house blaze in Birkenhead.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called at around 11.21pm on Tuesday, March 6 to a home in Hoblyn Road after reports of a first floor bedroom well alight.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to put out the flames.
Firefighters then damped down and ventilated the property.
No-one was injured.
Fire crews remained at the scene for around two hours and 10 minutes.
