A CATCHY viral song about the Liverpool squad has been released as a charity single to raise cash for brave three-year-old Edie Molyneux.

Obsessed with Spider-Man, Edie from Tranmere, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour last year and travelled to Mexico in January to receive groundbreaking IA chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment.

The family set up The Spider-Ede Appeal to raise £700,000 to go towards Edie's treatment.

So far £110,805 has been raised of the £700,000 target.

Based on The Archie's hit Sugar Sugar, Liverpool FC's biggest fan Kevin Murphy broke the internet with the Salah song in January.

After several television requests and appearances later, Kevin has teamed up with Wirral musician Marc Kenny and  label Slide Away Records to release 'We've Got Salah' with all proceeds for The Spider-Ede Appeal.

The soon-to-be released music video starts in Kevin's bedroom where he first uploaded the song to YouTube then follows him on his journey on national TV and signing a record deal.

The single is available to pre-order now before its official release on Friday, February 16.

On Monday, February 12 Edie received the fantastic news that although her tumour looks bigger, it is less active but more funding is needed to ensure she can continue receiving the treatment.
