MERSEYRAIL passengers are being urged not to miss the last train home before Christmas.

A regular Sunday service is in operation today, December 24, but with an earlier finish for Christmas Eve.

The final departure times are:

  • West Kirkby to Liverpool – 8.01pm
  • Moorfields to West Kirkby – 8.31pm
  • New Brighton to Liverpool – 8.23pm
  • Moorfields to New Brighton – 8.46pm
  • Chester to Liverpool – 7.55pm
  • Moorfields to Chester – 8.41pm
  • Ellesmere Port to Liverpool – 8.14pm
  • Moorfields to Ellesmere Port – 8.56pm
