WELL loved actor and presenter Sir Tony Robinson will be making a stop in Oxton on his upcoming book tour.
Travelling across the UK to promote his latest work 'No Cunning Plan' Sir Robinson will return to Birkenhead School's Bushell Hall on November 21 from 7.30pm.
Curated by Lingham's booksellers, tickets include a signed paperback of his long-awaited autobiography and Tony will even treat audiences to a 26 minute reading.
With a stellar career lasting more than fifty years Tony reveals how the boy from South Woodford went from child stardom in the first stage production of Oliver! to comedy icon Baldrick, the loyal servant and turnip aficionado in Blackadder.
'No Cunning Plan' also divulges how he was bullied by Steve Marriott, failed to impress Liza Minnelli and was pushed into a London dock by legendary American actor John Wayne.
Packed full of incident and insight his autobiography hopes to be a funny, self-deprecating and entertaining read.
Standard tickets are £14 and a couple £20.
