ONE person was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Birkenhead.
Emergency services were called at around 6.47pm on Saturday, November 4 to reports of a crash involving two cars and a pedestrian on Cleveland Street.
One fire engine attended the incident and firefighters provided first aid to one casualty.
They also made both vehicles safe.
One casualty was assessed at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital for further checks.
Six occupants of the two vehicles had made their own way out of the cars prior to the arrival of emergency services, none of them suffered any injuries.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around 30 minutes.
