A 27 year-old man has been charged with human trafficking.
Robert Florin Dragnea, a Romanian national living in Preston was arrested at Liverpool John Lennon Airport on Wednesday, September 20.
He has been charged under Section 2 of the Modern Slavery Act relating to alleged incidents at a Merseyside hotel between January 1 and September 20.
He was remanded in custody and will appear before South Sefton Magistrates court today.
