NOW the Government has announced they are not going to give financial support to the residents and businesses of New Ferry is it now time for our borough council leader Phil Davies to announce that under the “Wirral Growth Plan” any investment from the business sector will be used to help New Ferry.
Wirral Council should kick start the process by using some of its millions of pounds held in reserves.
This is a forgotten disaster - forgotten by a unconcerned, uncaring Government who can give millions to another political party just for them to stay in power and invest £30m in London’s Crossrail project after already spending millions on it.
Come on council, show some steel. Send the message to all that a Labour-run authority will not abandon New Ferry.
