FIREFIGHTERS tackled a number of small fires at a disused building in Moreton.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue service were called at around 10.30pm on Saturday to a disused building on Pasture Road to reports of a fire.
Two fire engines attended the incident and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fires.
No-one was injured.
Firefighters remained at the scene for around one hour and 25 minutes.
