A MAN who was arrested by detectives investigating the explosion that devastated New Ferry is no longer under police investigation.
The 65-year-old man from Cheshire was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit arson following the blast in March.
Two other men arrested are still under investigation by police.
The cause of the blast which resulted in 33 people being injured and several buildings destroyed or badly damaged is also still under investigation.
