THE Wirral Real Ale Trial is back and has revealed a new route between Heswall and Thorton Hough for the first time.

On Saturday June 10 the event will transport hundreds of ale lovers by bus from the coast, country to the city all in one day.

With the potential to experience more than 50 ales on the bus based festival the route is made up of 10 unique bars chosen for their quirkiness and selection of real ales.

Ale Trail director Shelly Barratt said: “It’s going to be the best trail to date as we have included a diverse range of pubs and probably one’s that people have never visited before.

Wirral Globe:

“But to get the most of the event it must be spent with good friends as this is what the trail is all about, giving people the reason to make a date to spend time with buddies without worrying who is driving.

“It’s a friendly day with with people often socialising with other fellow passengers.

“It seems Wirral people really love a good old sing song whilst traveling on the bus together.

“It’s a great fun day, everyone is always in good spirits.”

Heswall's Harvest Mouse, Devon Doorway and Good Beer Guide and Good Pub Guide 2017 winner Thornton Hough’s Red Fox have all been added to the route this year.
