A SPECIAL showcase of dance is set to take place at the Gladstone Theatre.

Dancers will perform  an array of styles including Ballet and Tap from 7.30pm, on Friday May 12, and Saturday, May 1.

The show stars the Barbara Roberts School of Dance, which started in 1950.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the charity Christians Against Poverty chosen in memory of the dance school's long-time pianist David Steedman who passed away last year.

Two other charities will be supported through a raffle on the night including the fundraising campaign for the Bennett family and the Terral Morgan memorial fund.
