Merseyside Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman’s body in a property in Birkenhead on Easter Sunday.
At about 1.15pm North West Ambulance Service reported the discovery of the woman’s body in a house in Deverill Road.
A patrol attended and found the body of a 30-year-old woman inside.
The scene has been cordoned off for examination and inquiries are underway in the area.
The woman has been formally identified and next of kin have been informed.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious.
A post-mortem will be conducted to establish cause of death.
