I AM so fed up with my doctors' surgery and I know many others who are too.
They want patients to telephone at 8.30am but you can never get through until about 8.50am and all the appointments are gone.
People used to queue at the doors to get around the problem of not being able to get through.
However, the doctors' practice was criticised for this so they opened the switchboard at 8am for calls – the doors are still closed at 8.30am.
This got rid of the queues and the criticism as there was no point waiting in the queue when all the appointments had gone before the doors had opened.
The issue is that it is virtually impossible to get an appointment to see your doctor.
Something needs to be done about this.
