A WIRRAL pensioner accused of a string of sex offences involving two girls has denied the offences.
Glyn Thomas, 67, pleaded not guilty to 27 charges, including 11 rape offences against a girl beginning when she was 12 years old.
The other charges against Thomas, of Bromsgrove Road, Greasby, include indecently and sexually assaulting the same alleged victim and causing her to engage in sexual activity.
He also denied two offences of indecently assaulting another girl and one of sexually assaulting her.
The offences he faces largely occurred in the 2000s.
Thomas, who was using a walking stick and was accompanied to court by his son, was further remanded on bail by Liverpool Crown Court until March 3.
His trial date was fixed to begin in the week commencing September 18.
