TWO men were taken to hospital following a car crash in Wirral.
Firefighters were called to Chester High Road at around 11.45pm on Friday September 2.
Crews removed the driver’s door of one of the vehicles using hydraulic cutters and placed a 60-year-old man on to a stretcher.
He was taken to University Hospital Aintree by ambulance.
A 70-year-old man from the other vehicle was assessed at the scene by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Two fire engines and a Search and Rescue Team attended the incident, which occurred close to Parkgate Lane and Liverpool Road.
