THREE people were taken to hospital yesterday following a two car crash in Thingwall.
Firefighters were called to the junction of Pensby Road and Thingwall Road East at around 2.45pm.
A 73-year-old man from one of the vehicles was checked by paramedics before being taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
A 47-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl from the second car were also taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Two fire engines and a search and rescue team attended the scene.
Merseyside Police attended the scene and closed both roads affected by the collision.
Fire crews remained at the scene for around 40 minutes.
